Grammostola anthracina

This is an impressive large, bulky species very similar to the Brazilian Black (G.pulchra) but also has long red setae (hairs) underneath its legs, it is also considered by some as another locality (Southern Form) of G.mollicoma.

It is a very hardy species and does not require any special attention, and are suitable to all levels of experience within the hobby.

Slings can go straight into a spiderling kit and will happily take down small crickets now, just keep the water bowl topped up for humidity…
