Previously known as Acanthoscurria suina, this large growing species is native to both meadows in Uruguay (where they’re found in the same areas as Eupalestrus weijenberghi) and parts of Argentina. They are largely nocturnal as a species but are known as Road Spiders due to mature males trekking through the day looking for a female.
Slings should be provided with a little depth of substrate to ensure they can burrow (you can tell in the wild whether you’re looking at the burrow of a cordubensis or a weijenberghi by the shape of the burrow)
Grow fast, grow massive and have the feeding response and general hunger of their geniculata cousins but are much much rarer in the hobby.
