The Curly hair tarantula is a plump-bodied spider, covered with dark brown to black hair. It has a golden-bronze sheen due to longer gold hairs that cover the whole body, which are particularly dense on the hind legs.

Mexican Red Rump (Tlitocatl vagans)

Another classic hobby species! An attractive spider that is large heavily bodied with velvet jet black colouration with dense long red setae (hair) on the abdomen making it a stunning display species

Veracruz Grey (Tlitocatl kahlenbergi)

Tliltocatl kahlenbergi is a relatively small member of the genus.  The body is generally dark with relatively dense covering of red hair on the abdomen and legs compared to the more sparse red hairs in T.schroderi , which this species resembles. is variable in colour, and can appear quite bright
