It is advisable to use glass or plastic tanks as this species could well chew through any netting.
A 12-hour day/night lighting cycle is recommended for this species.
This Katydid primarily feeds on Bramble, Oak but will take Rose, Hazel and also benefits from supplementary weekly addition of soft fruit.
