This very rarely seen Scorpion is the biggest species in the Middle east and the only species in it’s genus. It is found mostly in Israel but can also be found in Jordan and Syria as well. This species is mostly found in scrub land and forested areas where they are opportunistic burrowers. They rarely dig their own burrow and are mostly found in abandoned burrows or under rocks.
