Native to Peleng, Sulawesi, females range in size from 9.5 to 10.5 cm and display traditional stick insect morphology. They are notable for their captivating color blend of blue, green, and yellow
Males are somewhat smaller, at around 8 cm, and share a similar color palette.
At the L1 stage, nymphs present a green body with distinct white-tipped antennae,
Nymphs require a high humidity enclosure (at least 80%). Insufficient humidity, falling below 65%, can lead to molting issues, so adequate moisture must be maintained—possibly by using a moist paper towel on the cage floor.
Once adults, the insects handle lower humidity better than during their nymph stage.
