Not to be confused with Thrixopelma lagunus that looks indentical. The males has different bulbs and females different shaped spermetheca so a different species. This is large species that varies from bright blue to a midnight blue colour depending on when it last moulted, they also have striking Cream/pink stripes on their legs.
