A rare arboreal from Tanzania. This is the first African and the second known tarantula species which lacks spermathecae. Known only from mountains near Arusha, Northern Tanzania. Encyocratella is a monotypic genus of Tanzanian tarantulas containing the single species, Encyocratella olivacea
