Not the first semi-dwarf on this list but arguably one of the most beautiful species to enter the hobby in recent years, so recent in fact we’ve only just got a decent photo of one…
Known as a white tiger purly for the striping on it’s abdomen rather than it’s nature, although similar to Davus pentaloris they can be pretty quick if startled.
White legs with slight patterning meet dark femur’s and throw in a tiger rump and you’re almost there.
Care-wise these are nothing difficult, just a standard South American terrestrial setup will do them just fine, keep these slings warm and well fed and should be at a juvenile level (with the start of their colours) within a year.
Those who own them love them and you’re still early enough to be considered very cool by adding one to your New World Collection…
