Keeper view from Dave N on Facebook, (Thanks Dave)
“They are very fast and its easier to move them into their new home over a bigger work container that it cant escape from because I have yet to see one that can climb. Don’t make the mistake of trying to move them with a paintbrush.
Keep them on damp but not wet soil and make sure the water goes down to the bottom of its enclosure instead of misting the top. Use abit of vermiculite at the bottom of the substrate to help with humidity and moss at the top maybe some leaves as it helps the trapdoor construct its burrow.
Give them enough soil to burrow but don’t make it so deep that you cant identify where it is.”
Video of set up below from Gav’s Tarantula is a good watch
