A burrowing species distinct stripes on their knees and attractive tiger stripes on the abdomen. Males have a dark brown, black body with copper coloured hairs mainly present over the abdomen. The legs have light brown lateral stripes and bands. Females are much darker and seem to have a black sheen. This is what is sometimes incorrectly sold as Cyriopagopoeus paganus. Not for the faint hearted as they are as nasty as they come.
