efinately one of the rarest pink toes available in the hobby, these beautiful arboreals hail from a dence pocket of jungle near the town of Tarapoto, Peru.
Climate wise you’re looking at an area which ranges from 21 to 32 degrees, with rainfall all year round so keeping in a well venilated arboreal enclosure and misting lightly is the way to go (these sit well in arboreal keepers!)
Pictured above is an adult but the juvenile patterning (as with most pink toes) is them at their most beautiful, and they feature the “xmas tree” patterning as with the rest of the genus.
A very gentle arboreal spider, had one out for filming yesterday and was very slow moving across the cork bark I was holding. One to cross off your list as a collector of all things avic.
