Atmetochilus is a genus of spiders in the family Bemmeridae which is a group of Funnel web trapdoor species found over Asia and Africa. They are a Mygalomorph (Like Tarantulas) and are not a true spider. Though not a restricted species like the Australian species found in the Atracidae Family (Like Atrax) they should be treated with caution.
