This is another new Grammostola to recently come out of Chile. This species is named after the coastal town of Concepicon near where is it is found. Though this species is found on the coast it has also be found in land at 2000+ ft. This species grows quite large and like the Chile Rose it is a docile species and makes excellent first spider.

This species is distinctive as Grammostola rosea and the colour is more orange than red and they have a pale carapace and strong white striping on the legs. Another similar looking species is Grammostola sp. “Maule” which is another costal species.
