A beautiful iridescent blue tarantula!
A recently described and re-discovered species named in honour of Dr Ivan Sazima.
These are found on a unique ecological island, a habitat high upon tabletop mountains which have a greater rainfall and different soils than the immediately surrounding area. Despite this the habitat is a rocky one so are used to slightly dryer conditions but with rainfall.
A slings can go into a spiderling kit, rather than fighting a never ending humidity battle trying to make it rain onto dry rocks, a little damp patch near the water bowl will help them out work themselves out.
Have been really popular amongst keepers since they were introduced into the hobby, and so they should be, are an awesome species.
