Ornithoctoninae sp. “Ho Chi Minh”

Brutally mis-spelled on the website for a long while, this awesome and recently discovered Earth Tiger has been on the wishlist of most Old World collectors since the time of their discovery.

And for good reason, black femurs with lightered coloured legs, yellow/orange banding at the knees and then the familiar (and very lovely) Earth Tiger patterning gives you a very striking species with the feeding response of a viper.

As expected need a bit of substrate to burrow down into but then so do half our staff…

Named after the City in Vietnam near where they’re found, which in turn is named after one of Vietnams former Presidents, it almost brings a tear to the eye knowing he’s looking down from Heaven at the UK’s finest Tarantula pedlars website wondering why his name has now changed to a very crass word for the female anatomy.
